Last Updated: March 11, 2026
pole.world respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Service to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512, we will respond to valid notices of claimed copyright infringement and will disable access to or remove infringing content.
1. Reporting Infringing Content
If you believe that content available on pole.world infringes your copyright, you (or your authorized agent) may submit a written DMCA takedown notice to our designated copyright agent. To be valid, your notice must include ALL of the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are covered by a single notice, a representative list is acceptable;
- Identification of the specific material on pole.world that you claim is infringing, with sufficient detail to allow us to locate it (e.g., a URL or description of where the content appears);
- Your contact information, including full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address;
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf;
- Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Designated DMCA Agent
Submit DMCA notices to our designated agent:
Email: dmca@pole.world
We strongly recommend submitting notices via email for fastest processing. Please include "DMCA Takedown Notice" in the subject line.
3. Our Response to Valid Notices
Upon receipt of a complete and valid DMCA notice, we will:
- Promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content;
- Notify the user who posted the content that it has been removed due to a copyright claim;
- Provide the user with a copy of the takedown notice (with your personal contact details redacted where reasonably practicable).
4. Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed or disabled in error, you may file a counter-notification with our DMCA Agent. A valid counter-notification must include:
- Identification of the content that was removed and the location at which it appeared before removal;
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
- Your full name, address, telephone number, and email address;
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if outside the United States, any judicial district in which pole.world may be found;
- A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice or their agent;
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant and may restore the content within 10 to 14 business days unless the complainant notifies us they have filed a court action.
5. Repeat Infringer Policy
pole.world has a strict policy against repeat copyright infringement. Accounts of users who are found to have repeatedly infringed third-party copyrights will be terminated. We reserve the right to determine what constitutes a "repeat infringement" at our sole discretion.
6. Performers and Uploaded Content
All performers on pole.world represent and warrant that they have full rights to broadcast and license all content they perform or contribute to on the Service. By becoming a performer, you grant pole.world a non-exclusive license to stream, archive, and display your performances in connection with the Service. Any third-party content incorporated into a performance must be licensed appropriately by the performer.
7. Misrepresentation Warning
Please be aware that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be subject to liability for damages, including attorneys' fees. We reserve the right to seek damages from any party who submits a fraudulent notice.
