Anti-Human Trafficking Policy
Last Updated: March 11, 2026
1. Statement of Commitment
pole.world is unequivocally opposed to human trafficking, sexual exploitation, forced labour, and all forms of modern slavery in any part of our business or platform. We recognise that adult content platforms can be misused by those who seek to exploit vulnerable individuals, and we take that risk seriously.
This Anti-Human Trafficking Policy ("Policy") sets out our commitment to preventing, detecting, and responding to trafficking and exploitation, the safeguards we have implemented, the responsibilities of performers, users, and staff, and the steps anyone can take if they have concerns.
This Policy applies to all individuals associated with pole.world, including subscribers, performers, contractors, employees, and third-party service providers.
Zero Tolerance
pole.world has a zero-tolerance stance toward human trafficking, sexual coercion, forced performance, and any form of exploitation. Any individual found to be facilitating or engaging in such conduct will be permanently removed from the platform and reported to the relevant authorities without exception.
2. Definitions
For the purposes of this Policy, the following definitions apply:
Human Trafficking: The recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring, or receipt of persons by means of threat, force, coercion, fraud, or abuse of power for the purpose of exploitation, including sexual exploitation, forced labour, or other forms of abuse.
Sexual Exploitation: Any actual or attempted abuse of a position of vulnerability, differential power, or trust for sexual purposes, including financially benefiting from the sexual exploitation of another person.
Forced Performance: The act of compelling a performer to participate in a live stream, recording, or any other content through coercion, threats, deception, debt bondage, or any other means that removes or restricts their free choice.
Victim of Trafficking: Any person who has been subjected to human trafficking as defined above, regardless of whether they have been formally identified as such by law enforcement or other authorities.
Modern Slavery: An umbrella term encompassing human trafficking, forced labour, debt bondage, and other forms of severe exploitation in which individuals are controlled for personal or commercial gain.
3. Our Safeguards
pole.world has implemented the following measures to prevent the exploitation of performers and the misuse of our platform:
3.1 Age and Identity Verification
All performers are required to complete mandatory identity verification before they may broadcast on the platform. This process includes:
- Submission of a valid, government-issued photographic identity document (passport, national identity card, or driving licence);
- A live selfie check matched against the submitted identity document;
- Confirmation of date of birth to verify the performer is aged 18 or over;
- Independent review of all verification submissions by our Trust & Safety team prior to account activation.
Verification records are securely retained in accordance with applicable law and our Privacy Policy.
3.2 Consent Verification
All performers must provide documented, informed, and ongoing consent to participate on the platform. Specifically:
- Performers must independently complete the onboarding and consent process - no third party may complete this process on a performer's behalf;
- Performers must confirm, in writing, that they are participating freely and without coercion at the point of registration and at regular intervals thereafter;
- Performers retain the right to withdraw consent and cease participation at any time, without penalty, by contacting safeguarding@pole.world;
- pole.world does not recognise consent obtained under duress, through deception, or by a person who lacks legal capacity to consent.
3.3 Payment Controls
To reduce the risk of financial exploitation:
- All performer earnings are paid directly to a bank account held in the performer's own name, verified during onboarding;
- Payments to third-party accounts on behalf of a performer are not permitted under any circumstances;
- Our finance team is trained to identify unusual payment patterns that may indicate financial control or coercion;
- Performers may contact safeguarding@pole.world at any time to raise a concern about their payment arrangements without fear of penalty.
3.4 Ongoing Monitoring
pole.world employs ongoing platform monitoring measures, including:
- Regular review of performer account activity for anomalies associated with third-party control;
- Automated and manual review of live stream content for signs of distress, coercion, or non-consensual activity;
- Periodic re-verification of performer identity and consent;
- Analysis of user behaviour patterns that may indicate attempts to solicit or facilitate off-platform exploitation.
3.5 Staff Training
All pole.world staff and contractors who interact with performer accounts, content, or user data receive mandatory training on:
- Recognising the indicators of human trafficking and sexual exploitation;
- Their responsibilities under this Policy and applicable law;
- How to escalate a concern to the designated Safeguarding Lead;
- Relevant national and international legal frameworks, including the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA), the Modern Slavery Act, and applicable EU directives.
4. Recognising the Warning Signs
The following table sets out key indicators that may suggest a performer or user is involved in, or is a victim of, trafficking or exploitation. These are not exhaustive, and the presence of one or more indicators does not confirm that trafficking is occurring, but should prompt further investigation.
| Category | Warning Signs |
|---|---|
| Performer Conduct | Appears fearful, anxious, or unwilling to speak freely; defers all decisions to a third party; is unable to confirm their own contact details or schedule. |
| Account Control | Multiple performer accounts managed from a single device or IP address; payments redirected to a third-party account not in the performer's name. |
| Verification Anomalies | Identity documents appear inconsistent, altered, or do not match live appearance; reluctance or inability to complete independent verification steps. |
| Communications | A third party responds to performer communications on their behalf; messages indicate the performer is being monitored or coached during interactions. |
| User / Subscriber Behaviour | Requests that suggest the user is attempting to arrange in-person meetings, purchase services outside the platform, or coordinate exploitation of a performer. |
| Content Patterns | Content that appears to be produced under duress; visible distress or non-consensual activity; content that may depict a minor. |
If you observe any of the above warning signs, whether as a performer, subscriber, or member of the public, please report immediately using the process outlined in Section 6.
5. Prohibited Conduct
The following conduct is strictly prohibited on pole.world and will result in immediate account termination and referral to law enforcement:
- Recruiting, advertising, or soliciting performers on behalf of a third party without their knowledge or consent;
- Controlling, directing, or managing a performer's account or earnings without their express, documented authorisation;
- Using the platform to advertise, solicit, or arrange in-person sexual services;
- Communicating with a performer in a manner designed to coerce, threaten, or manipulate them into content they have not freely consented to;
- Attempting to establish debt bondage or other financial control over a performer;
- Using the platform to launder proceeds from trafficking or other criminal activity;
- Facilitating the participation of any person under the age of 18 in any content on the platform;
- Knowingly subscribing to or accessing content produced through exploitation or coercion.
